Comments about Lorac Online Only Unzipped Mountain Sunset Palette:

I bought this pallet a couple weeks ago and it's gorgeous. Personally I think the packaging is beautiful and the shades are stunning, Cliff side being my favorite. Nevertheless there are some minor issues... There are no transition shades in this pallet, which is a slight inconvenience. Another thing to mention is that as beautiful as Burnt Sienna and SmokeSignal are while swatching there is almost no pigment when put on the eye, unless you use wet. The other shimmers are great and the mattes blend amazingly.

Comments about Lorac Online Only Unzipped Mountain Sunset Palette:

I have to say when I first got this palette a few weeks ago, I was at the end of a colorful eyeshadow binge, and I honestly had no idea what to do with it. I kept thinking of looks I could MAYBE try with it, used a couple of the shadows with other palette looks, but otherwise it was probably a month before inspiration finally hit. I primed my lids, used Stone all over my eye to set up for blending, and then took some brown eyeliner (L'oreal actually) and smudged it to make a smokey effect in my outer corner and going into my crease. I then blended that out more using Graphite in my crease, and then blended even more using Earth in my crease but mostly in the outer corner "v". I then took Mahogany and applied it to my outer lid and blended inward about halfway, and then took Ametrine and applied that a little bit before my inner corner and blended back towards my outer until I had a good transition from light to dark. I then took Storm to my innermost corner and blended it back into Ametrine for the same transition effect. To finish, I highlighted my brow bone with Cliffside.
I usually don't wear brown eye looks very often, but WOW this is by FAR my favorite earthy tone look I've ever worn! I loved the shimmer effect and how well the colors transitioned. I think this palette can be difficult if you're a novice with more earthy and natural tones, but if they're your thing or if you're curious then give it a go. It made a believer out of me :D

Comments about Lorac Online Only Unzipped Mountain Sunset Palette:

Yeah, I was excited to get this palette after I spent a while deciding if I wanted to try it. But I'm not impressed. The texture and quality is great. The price isn't even bad and I LOVE the color selection. But the same thing happened that happens with the other Lorac palette I have: the lighter colors just didn't show up well on me and faded after a couple of hours. Maybe it's just my skin, I don't know. I just don't have time to constantly touch up my makeup. Good thing is, I used the primer that came with it and found it works very well with other palettes I have from different brands. I'm on the fence as to if I will return this or give it away.

Comments about Lorac Online Only Unzipped Mountain Sunset Palette:

i love the color palette. it is really easy to mix and match and applies smooth, i really am not a big fan of the actual casing, it seems lorac always skimps on the packaging, very flimsy, although this palette does have a little flap that bends for easy opening but none the less it is not very sturdy, I always worry about Lorac palettes being damaged in shipping or even daily use if you happen to drop it , its pretty much gone at least a few of the shades are, that is my experience. other then that its great!

Service and delivery comments:

I wish the palettes and anything else that has a potential of crumbling or shattering would be wrapped in bubble wrap, I know air bubble packs are put in each shipment but the actual items should be better protected

Comments about Lorac Online Only Unzipped Mountain Sunset Palette:

I don't really like this. I normally love Lorac shadows but this palette was underwhelming. The colors kind of muddied into each other and a few of the shimmers (Ametrine and Cliffside, especially) were more on the sheer side. Blackout looks like a forest green in the pan, but on the eye it's hard to make the green come across. It looks more like a dark gray on the skin. Cliffside and Storm look very similar on the eye, pretty much like the same color. Also I found s m o k e signal very difficult to blend, and it's very disappointing considering it's the only color that could feasibly work as a crease color on my skin tone. Maybe I'm comparing it too much to other Lorac shadows but I normally find Lorac shadows effortless to blend. These took some work and I had to keep going back in to build up color to achieve a desired intensity. I think I'm going to return this because I don't see myself reaching for it enough to justify the purchase.
