i am not a professional and i love it!

By Lizzy

Yes there is fallout, IMO more than the MR, but it's not a deal breaker. MR was my very first eyeshadow pallet and when I head it's sister was going to come out, well I had to snag it!!

I bought it because I personally wanted to try it, seeing as I could easily return if I didn't like it. I will admit the first few times I played with it I had no success at blending or applying it correctly. I was getting ready to return but each time I did I kept giving it a try and I'm in love with it now! Like another review stated if you haven't worked with pigments and/or don't like to then this isn't for you. Subculture isn't as easy to apply as it's sister pallet but nonetheless I love a challenge! There's good YouTube videos out there, look for them and they help. The correct brushes also helps, the smaller the better IMO! I'm happy I got it and I look forward to using it as often as the MR!

I wouldn't recommend this product

The matts were extremely powdery and difficult to blend. And the shimmers required a lot effort to use.

Love the colors in this palette. Fall out is no worse than the modern renaissance palette.

I had to return this product. The shadows turned grey, no matter what primer I used.

I havent tried every color in the palette yet. However, i do like the colors ive used. They are very soft and pigmented. Which means that a little goes a long way.
Not all palettes are created equal so i think people dont know what to do with shadows that have different formulations. Not all shadows need be applied the same way! The reason i give it a 4 is because the color Cube is a pain to apply to your brush. Also i hate how they have the velvet like outside, it just gets dirty and messy.
Tip: dont swirl your brush in the shadow. Just pat it with your brush and tap off the excess.
Tip: use a light hand because these are very pigmented!
This definitely takes some getting used to but i love it

    So Much Pigment!!

    By HBurleigh

I usually struggle with building deep colors on my eyes because I have tan skin tone. I never seem to be able to get a rich, deep color payoff with out adding a dark base but not with this palette. This products has deep and rich color payoff with just a small amount of shadow. It definetly requires a lite hand and thoughtfulness when blending colors together (color theory) but I'm really enjoying this palette.
